Assessors are industry professionals whose competence has been validated by evaluation, who have received adequate training and preparation in the evaluation methodology, and who have been recognized by the evaluation agency to provide professional competency evaluation services. Currently the Agencies have 1025 Assessors actively participating in the competency assessments.

Supervisors
Supervisors are OOCAA's experts, drawn from the agency and branches, who have been trained in evaluation methods and oversee the evaluation process on behalf of the agency's. The Agencies have 137 Supervisors whom conducting competency assessment.

Oromia Occupational Competence Assurance Agency (OOCAA) is one of a public sector service oriented organization, which was established in 1999 E.C under Oromia Technical and Vocational Education and Training Commission as a center of competence. It was established in June 2007 E.C by regulation No.173/2007 as Oromia Occupational Competence Assurance Agency. The main mission of this organization is to provide occupational assessment against the standard set by industries based on knowledge, skills and attitudes for TVET trainees, industry workers and non-professionals (experienced) individuals and by certifying them those competent enough against the standard and afford competent human resources for the market.

Oromia Occupational Competence Assurance Agency (OOCAA) is a core institution established, at regional level, to implement and facilitate National Occupational Assessment and Certification in the region. It is born from the ambition of the government to have competent and self-reliant workforce that meet labor market demands; thus contributing to the economic and social development of the country.
Our mission is hence, to ensure that TVET graduates and industry workers possess the competencies required by labor market. Following this mission, OOCAA has been delighted to welcome and to work closely with employers/enterprises, workers and customers that quest better service and quality product. Database Administration and Certification Directorate DirectorThe Directorate of Database Administration and Certification is one of the directorates under the Agency. The Directorate is newly organized and has two Case Teams to achieve its objectives. They are: ICT Teams and Database Administrarion & Certification Teams.
ICT Teams: Data Administration and Website Management service issues, computer and network maintenance and others. Database Administrarion & Certification Teams: Teams that coordinate, maintain and manage the results of assessment data, prepare and issue professional competency certificates. The Directorate is structured from the Agency to the Agency's branches, and it prepares and issues certificates of professional competency assessment results by level and competency set on occupational standards at the branch level.

Research and Quality Assurance of Occupational Competency Assessment DirectorateResearch and Occupational Competency Assessment Quality Assurance Directorete is one of the directorates estabilished under the Oromia Occupational Competency Assurance Agency. The directorete consists of two teams: the research and consultance service team, and the occupational competency assessment relevance and quality assurance team.

Competence Assessment preparation and Delivery Directorate DirectorThe Oromia Occupational Competence Assessment preparation and Delivery Directorate Directorate is one of the three Main Directorate. It is major activity is conducting Assessment based on Nationally prepared occupational standard (OS) in different occupation categorized in seven sectors (Agriculture, Health, Economic Infrastructure, Industry Development, Culture and Sport and Mining).
Assessment preparation and Delivery Directorate Directorate prepare additional Assessment tool by organizing (TEP) technical expert panel seesors from industry in collaboration with ministry of labor and also Accredit qualified practitioner Assessors and Assessment center from the industry to conduct Assessment in their respective occupation and qualification level. The Assessment preparation and Delivery Directorate Directorate plays an important role to success the Missions,Vissions and Goals of the agency.
